Things I’m loving #2
Wow, a girl spends all her time writing thought-out, branding lesson style blogs and y'all are just as keen for the off the cuff list of things I'm loving...
No offence taken. I'm keen for it too!

Today we're going for a 'things I can't stop thinking about' vibe *assumes thinking [wo]man pose*
You know the drill. Here's them things!
We're starting off hot with these $4000 (!!!!!) towels / robes?/ fashion lewks. There are a few reasons I can't stop thinking about these:
1.) What a way to upcycle and make old towels into a money making machine.
2.) Or does no-one buy them?
3.) After having this tab open for like a week so I could share them with someone, anyone, I'm almost convinced it's a bargain. Is this a lesson in human psychology of exposure – where familiarity leads to becoming comfortable with something and then wanting it in your life (in this case comfy with the hefty price for a fancy towel thingymabob)? If so, what a great reason to keep up your brand awareness marketing 😉This branded TikTok. Have been over CGI ads. BUT THIS. Simple. Gold.
MAFS Aus. Okay...Stay with me. I'm very late on the MAFS bandwagon but holy moly, what a fascinating display of human behaviour. And what a great trashy no-thought show to sink my tired brain into at the end of a big week. It's really Chantalle Schmidt's recaps that make me want to keep watching and think about when I will be watching again. They're funny, great writing, 10/10.
P.s Are we all this messed up but just don't know it/ can pretend we don't know it cause we're not in front of the world? Probs. Do we all just act and feel like little kids on the inside? Also probs.
P.p.s NZ's version is about to kick off and I don't know how I feel about it. There's only 4 couples and one of them features a very straightened beard? This brand. "We crush them like it's NBD but it's a BFD". It's the funnest version of a sustainability focused brand I've seen in a long, long time.
The realisation that every single bride selling their wedding dress starts the listing with something along the lines of "Sad to say goodbye...loved wearing this...time for another bride to love wearing it as much as I did, bla bla bla". The only one that made me stop and read it said "THIS DRESS HAS POCKETS".
That's your reminder to:
1.) Lead with the benefit to the reader
2.) Stop saying what everyone else is. Especially if it's boring and no-one cares.
